The target market for this Florida-based S&L was seniors looking for good CD rates and bargains. The bank delivered the bargains via discount coupons in a newsletter that also included feature articles on travel, shopping, food, health, and, of course, money.

The newsletter was published six times a year. I was responsible for all the editorial content and oversaw its production.

"There was a time when traveling by rail was elegant. You boarded the train and were greeted by a porter who welcomed you and took your luggage. You may have ridden in coach or in the luxury of a compartment or bedroom suite. You dined on white table clothes. The food rivaled the finest restaurants.
