One of the first online travel sites on AOL and the Web was Destination Florida, a joint venture of two giant newspaper companies, the Tribune Company and Knight Ridder. This ad was one of a series that ran in newspapers across the country promoting the site.

Other headlines included, "Just how fancy is the Honeymoon Suite? Better sign on before you check in." And "Going to Florida? Before you hit the Interstate, drive the Information super highway." As well as, "Planning to visit Disney World? Before you get in line, get online for discount tickets."
