Destination Florida

One of the first online travel sites on AOL and the Web was Destination Florida, a joint venture of two giant newspaper companies, the Tribune Company and Knight Ridder. The key to its success was attracting a sufficient number of visitors and advertisers, primarily travel related businesses. This pocket folder served as the media kit, explaining the concept, which was new at the time, and describing the size of the potential market.
